The Hamtramck Historical Museum is at 9525 Jos. Campau between Poland and Norwalk Streets, just north of Holbrook Avenue. Currently the museum is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays and by appointment. Call (313) 262-6571. In 2004 the Friends of Historical Hamtramck was established. This 501-c-3 non-profit corporation is the fund-raising and financial affiliate of the historical commission.
